Brian LiVecchi is a part of our Creditors’ Rights and Collection practice area where he represents businesses through all stages of creditor representation, including pre-suit collection efforts, lawsuits, judgments, and executions. A product of the firm’s summer associate program, Brian brings a unique resume of professional experience to the Smith Debnam team.
He received his Bachelor’s Degree in 2003 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he studied international relations, and foreign and defense policy. Brian is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, and also served as an infantry officer with the North Carolina Army National Guard. Before attending law school, Brian worked as a city police officer for several years and was the valedictorian of his police academy class.
Brian’s passion for the law and commitment to helping others find meaningful solutions to their problems drove Brian to attend law school. He received his J.D., summa cum laude, from Campbell University, where he was elected Editor-in-Chief of the Campbell Law Review and graduated at the top of his class. Brian’s law school achievements also include the I. Beverly Lake Constitutional Law Award, First Year Academic Achievement Award, and numerous “book” awards.
Brian is active in Boy Scouting, and is a member of the Church of the Resurrection Anglican Church in Fuquay-Varina.
