Trevor Hughey is a member of the firm’s creditors’ rights team where he concentrates his practice in the area of debt collection and retail and commercial litigation. Trevor is licensed in North and South Carolina and has represented clients in both states throughout his career.

Trevor studied at the University of South Carolina where he earned his law degree as well as a bachelor’s degree in political science and economics. He is also certified in International Commercial Dispute Resolution. Prior to joining Smith Debnam, Trevor worked for a firm in Charlotte, NC where he was a general practitioner but focused on real estate transactions, commercial contracting, entity formation, and estate planning.
