Bilingual Recovery Agent


This position is responsible for the collection of debts for our Clients to include negotiating payment plans and settlements, managing a personal collections portfolio, logging call information, and processing documents. This position works in a professional phone center environment managing a large volume of inbound and outbound calls, to include calls from debtors whose only language is Spanish.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate payment plans and settlements with debtors
  • Provide exceptional customer service support when resolving an individual’s debt
  • Answer and process inbound calls, place outbound calls
  • Process payments
  • Update electronic case files
  • Manage a personal collections portfolio
  • Adhere to customer service guidelines to ensure we are providing a positive experience for customers dealing with financial hardships

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Must be bilingual in both English and Spanish
  • Professional communication and customer service skills
  • Strong ability to negotiate and persuade
  • Strong ability to analyze and problem solve
  • Ability to process and manage a large volume of calls
  • Ability to prioritize and manage own workflow
  • Ability to work as a team player
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Outlook, and Excel)
