Bilingual Recovery Agent


This position is responsible for the collection of debts for our Retail Clients to include negotiating payment plans and settlements, managing a personal collections portfolio, logging call information and processing documents. This position works in a professional phone center environment managing a large volume of inbound and outbound calls, to include all calls from debtors whose only language is Spanish.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate payment plans and settlements with debtors
  • Answer and process inbound calls, place outbound calls
  • Process payments
  • Update electronic case files
  • Manage a personal collections portfolio

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Must be bilingual in both English and Spanish
  • Strong ability to negotiate and persuade
  • Strong ability to analyze and problem solve
  • Ability to demonstrate collections or customer service phone center skills
  • Ability to meet monthly revenue quotas
  • Bachelors or Associate degree preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Understanding of litigation legal process a plus
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
