Better Business Bureau serving Eastern North Carolina recognized Smith Debnam for celebrating 25 years as a BBB Accredited Business. BBB recently presented Jerry Myers, Managing Partner at Smith Debnam, with a special plaque commemorating the 25-year anniversary.
Accreditation by BBB is offered by invitation only to companies that, at minimum, meet BBB’s accreditation standards, have demonstrated sound business practices and have been in business for at least one year. BBB Accredited Businesses must adhere to BBB’s “Standards for Trust,” a comprehensive set of policies, procedures and best practices representing trustworthiness in the marketplace. The standards call for building trust, embodying integrity, advertising honestly, telling the trust, being transparent, honoring promises, being responsive and safeguarding privacy.
“When working with a BBB Accredited Business such as Smith Debnam, consumers have peace of mind knowing that they are dealing with an honest organization that is accountable to its clients,” said Toby Barfield, president and CEO of BBB serving Eastern North Carolina.
