Raleigh, N.C. (July 12, 2017) – Smith Debnam announced today the addition of South Carolina licensed attorney Jeriel Thomas to the firm. Thomas joins the firm as an associate attorney within the firm’s expanding creditors’ rights practice group. She will concentrate her practice in representing creditors in foreclosure and collections matters.

Before joining Smith Debnam, Thomas served clients through her independent practice in Greenville, South Carolina, as well as in association with Raleigh-based law firm Goddard & Peterson, PLLC. Thomas graduated cum laude from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and a minor in Business Administration. She earned her Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Clemson University and her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
