Raleigh, N.C. (September 16, 2019) – The Raleigh-based law firm of Smith Debnam headquartered in the heart of Midtown Raleigh sponsored the 13th Annual North Hills 5k on Saturday, September 14 at Trinity Baptist Church in Raleigh. The race event is part of the Second Empire Grand Prix Race Series. All proceeds from the event benefit the Backpack Buddies Program through North Raleigh Ministries. Backpack Buddies provides children from low-income households with 10-12 pounds of nutritious, kid-friendly meals for the weekend when free school lunches and breakfasts are not provided. Approximately 26 employees from Smith Debnam participated in the 5k race.
