Smith Debnam is proud to announce that Rose Stout and Max Rodden, Partners with the firm, have been selected as Business North Carolina’s Legal Elite in the practice area of Family Law.
Since 2002, Business North Carolina magazine has honored exceptional lawyers by publishing Business North Carolina’s Legal Elite, a listing of the state’s top lawyers in business-related categories. Winners are chosen not by the publication’s editors but by the state’s lawyers. This listing has become the model for other awards and lists, but it remains unique as the only award that gives every active lawyer in the state the opportunity to participate. Business North Carolina’s Legal Elite includes the top lawyers chosen using this statewide ballot.
Rose Stout has been practicing since 1985 and with Smith Debnam since 1989. She represents clients in all aspects of domestic law, including divorce, custody, equitable distribution, child support and alimony. She has extensive trial experience at the district court level and has spoken at family law seminars on various family law issues. A certified mediator and an experienced arbitrator, Rose frequently acts in both capacities in family law matters. Rose has been a Board Certified Family Law Specialist by the North Carolina State Bar Board of Legal Specialization since 1991. She is also listed among North Carolina Super Lawyers® for Family Law and as a Best Lawyers in America.
Max Rodden is a NC Bar Board Certified Family Law Specialist who represents clients in all matters of family law. He has practiced law in North Carolina since 1991 and focused his practice in family law since 1992. Max is an active member of the North Carolina Bar Association, Wake County Bar Association and Tenth Judicial District Bar. He is also involved with the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, is a graduate of Leadership Raleigh, and is a member of the Christian Legal Society.
Congratulations to these two exceptional attorneys on this recognition.
