Trusts and Estates Paralegal – Estate Administration

Our firm is actively seeking resumes for an experienced Trust and Estates Paralegal.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with clients, their beneficiaries, institutions, and court personnel for the gathering of information and the status of estate administrations
  • Draft various probate forms to include the inventories and accountings of an individual’s estate,
  • Draft motions, orders, and other probate documents
  • Monitor and manage all documentation for estate administration from beginning to end
  • Process, proofread, and update/edit estate administration documents and other written materials
  • Provide other general office duties to include copying, faxing, scanning documents, data entry, answering phones, and working with practicing attorneys.

 Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in estate administrations
  • Knowledge and experience in very basic accounting principles (debits and credits)
  • Must have strong basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
  • Proven ability to think analytically and spot issues with either documentation or estate transactions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products to include Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Ability to type 50 WPM or more
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Proven experience to work independently and when under pressure for tight deadlines

Candidates will be tested for basic skills and must show proof of education/certifications.
