Christina McAlpin Taylor Named to Collection Advisor Magazine’s 25 Most Powerful Women in Collections

Raleigh, N.C. (September 5, 2016) – Smith Debnam today announced that Christina McAlpin Taylor has been named to the 25 Most Powerful Women in Collections by Collection Advisor Magazine. Taylor is a partner in the firm and a member of the firm’s Creditors’ Rights practice group. 

According to Collection Advisor, nearly 70 percent of the 140,000 professionals in the collections industry are women. The 25 Most Powerful Women in Collections recognizes women professionals who “have found success in their organizations and have used their influence to create positive waves of change that ripple through the industry,” according to the magazine.

Taylor represents a wide range of businesses through all stages of creditor representation, including pre-suit collection efforts, lawsuits, judgments, and executions. She has earned numerous awards within the legal community for her leadership and professionalism. She earned a Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University Law School and a Bachelor’s degree from East Carolina University. Taylor is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association, Commercial Law League of America, National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys, North Carolina Creditors’ Bar, and the Wake County Bar Association.
