Business Systems Analyst

Location: Raleigh, NC

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role will play a crucial role in analyzing our organization’s business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing effective solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders, gather requirements, and translate them into technical specifications for system enhancements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of business operations and technology.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes and gather detailed requirements.
  • Analyze existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and process workflows.
  • Work closely with the management team to ensure the successful implementation of system enhancements and changes.
  • Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to validate the functionality and performance of new or modified systems.
  • Provide training and support to end-users during system implementations and updates.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends relevant to business systems.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or related field required.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of business process modeling, system analysis techniques, and project management methodologies.
  • Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
