RALEIGH, N.C. His work has included contract enforcement, fraud matters, regulatory compliance, and the practical mechanics of judgment and collection law.
Long before compliance became a constant operational concern for financial institutions, Drake was helping shape and teach the rules. While practicing in Kentucky, he worked on statutory law on judgments and garnishments, judgment execution forms, foreign judgment registration, and land records docketing. He later taught bankruptcy and commercial law programs for banking and credit union organizations and conducted compliance seminars for clients.
