RALEIGH, N.C. (January 5, 2026) – Smith Debnam today announced that partner Ned W. Mangum has been named to Business North Carolina magazine’s 2026 Legal Elite, a peer-driven distinction recognizing outstanding attorneys across the state.
Mangum, a former Wake County chief district court judge, brings decades of experience to his family law and civil litigation practice. During his career, he has presided over and handled thousands of cases, offering clients a rare perspective shaped by years on both sides of the bench.
